My name is Megan and I am extremely passionate about wildlife, conservation and nature. I am ever so slightly obsessed with cats!
I am a graduate of Liverpool John Moores University, with a BSc (Hons) degree in Biology. Throughout university I had the oppurtunity to work with different animal and plant species courtesy of
Chester Zoo,
Knowsley Safari Park and
Ness Botanic Gardens. My final year research project was on the hunting patterns within domesticated cats and whether or not an enrichment device would increase or decrease their hunting activities.
I am a member of several fantastic charities
The Lancashire Wildlife Trust,
World Animal Protection and
RSPB. I also currently volunteer
for the
The Woodland Trust as a
Super Campaigner. The Woodland Trust is a leading woodland conservation charity, and my role within this charity is to share and promote campaigns that the Woodlands Trust is involved with such as their most recent campaign 'Woods need EU and YOU'.
Thank you for visiting my Wildlife Blog!
